Photo/Video Service Terms of Use

Please take the time to review all of the information provided on this page prior to signing the form at the bottom.

The following information is in place to protect both Jessi McConnell (hereby referred to as 'the creator') and the brand/business/company (hereby referred to as 'client')

Copyright & Liability  Information

Copyright remains with the creator at all times. The creator grants the right for the client to use a copy of their content in relevant ways as discussed and agreed upon based on rates and base licensing.  Should a client wish to purchase full ownership rights to any content, they may do so for a fee which can be quoted upon consultation.

Clients are not permitted under any circumstances to add additional edits to content provided by the creator with the exception of speech-to-text over videos.

At no time will content approvals be made for any client that actively supports hateful ideologies including, but not limited to: racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc.  If a client is found to be using the content in this manner, the contract will be considered breached.  In this event, the client will not receive any kind of refund and must remove the content from their platforms.

Under no circumstances will the creator be held liable for any reason should the client experience legal (or other) problems in regards to their content.  The creator is simply providing the client with images or videos and cannot be held responsible should there be negative outcomes to the client.

Revisions & Approval

Custom content projects (with the exception of gifted content) will include a maximum of 2 complimentary revisions.  Revisions beyond that will result in a fee to be determined based on the scope of the revision.

Paid Projects:  The creator agrees to send the client a watermarked version of the content to allow the client to approve or request revisions.

Gifted Projects:  If the client has provided the creator with a product in exchange for content, the creator will send the agreed up materials to the client.  In the case of gifted products, no revisions are inlcluded.

Using An Existing Post For Your Brand

Information in this section is for the following situations:

  • Brands wanting to use an existing piece of content on their social media channels

  • Brands wanting to use an existing piece of content on their website or blog

  • Brands wanting to use  an existing piece of content for an ad or sponsored post 

​

Should a client wish to use an existing piece of content from the creator, they may do so under relevant conditions.  Content approval is subject to review and clients intending to use the content to support hateful ideologies (Ex. homophobia, racism, etc.) will not be accepted by the creator.  The creator reserves the right to terminate the contract if the client is found to be using the content for these purposes.

Still Images

Instagram Story/YouTube Short/TikTok, Not Sponsored:

  • $25 per image

  • Duration of Use: 24 hours

    • Additional $10 per additional 24 hours​

​

Instagram Story/YouTube Short/TikTok, Sponsored

  • $50 per image

  • Duration of Use: 1 month

    • Additional $15 per additional month​

​

Instagram Feed Post:

  • $40 per image

  • Duration of use: 3 months

    • Additional $15 per additional month​

​

Website Usage:

  • $100 per image

  • Duration of Use: 3 months

    • Additional $80 per image per month of additional use​

​

Blog Usage:

  • Large scale blogs (Ex. Narcity, BlogTO, etc.)

    • $50 per image​

  • Small scale blogs (personal/low traffic blogs)

    • $30 per image​

  • Duration of Use: Flexible pending blog post​​

Videos

Instagram Story/YouTube Short/TikTok, Not Sponsored:

  • $40 per video

  • Duration of Use: 24 hours

    • Additional $15 per additional 24 hours​

Instagram Story/YouTube Short/TikTok, Sponsored:

  • $100 per video

  • Duration of Use: 1 month

    • Additional $40 per additional month​

​

Instagram/YouTube/TikTok Post:

  • $150

  • Duration of Use: 1 month

    • Additional $80 per addtional month​

​

Website Usage:

  • $150 per video

  • Duration of Use: 3 months

    • Additional $80 per video per month of additional use​

​

Blog Usage:

  • Large scale blogs (Ex. Narcity, BlogTO, etc.)

    • $100 per video​

  • Small scale blogs (personal/low traffic blogs)

    • $80 per video​

  • Duration of Use: Flexible pending blog post

Custom Content and Collaborative Projects

Information in this section is for the following situations:

  • Brands seeking custom photo or video content from the creator

​

Content approval is subject to review and clients intending to use the content to support hateful ideologies (Ex. homophobia, racism, etc.) will not be accepted by the creator.  The creator reserves the right to terminate the contract if the client is found to be using the content for these purposes.
